Meet Abimbola Oyesanya
Creative Director & Visionary Behind 18th Interiors
Abimbola Oyesanya is a Lagos-based interior designer, educator, and entrepreneur. She is the Creative Director of 18th Interiors, Managing Director of 18th Beddings, and Co-Founder of Globe Design School, where she combines design practice, lifestyle innovation, and education.
She holds a first degree in English Arts from the University of Lagos and a Master's in Business Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. She's a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. To further deepen her expertise, she trained with the Interior Design Institute UK and Simplinteriors school of interior Design and entrepreneurship (Yabatech consultation).
Through 18th Interiors, she has delivered residential, commercial, and turnkey projects across Nigeria, with a focus on timeless elegance and functionality. With 18th Beddings, she champions premium sleep experiences through 100% American/Egyptian cotton products, toppers, and duvets under the brand tagline "Dream in Style."
At Globe Design School, she develops and facilitates advanced modules such as Color Theory, Lighting Plans, Space Planning, Textiles, Finishes & Furnishings, and the Business of Interior Design. Abimbola has also taught at Simplinteriors School of Design and the Jenniez School of African Interior Designers (JSAID), where she nurtured aspiring designers to refine both creative and business skills.
With a passion for design as a lifestyle, Abimbola continues to influence Nigeria's design industry by merging creativity with education and business, positioning herself as a voice for quality, innovation, and mentorship.
